Melina Kanakaredes Melina Kanakaredes, an American actor is best known for her performances as Dr. Sydney Hansen in the NBC drama Providence and as Dr. Lane Hunter in The Resident. She also received acclaim for her first television role of Eleni Andros Cooper in the CBS soap show Guiding Light. She was also a part of 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and The Olympians, The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The Wheel of Life, written by Elisabeth Kubler Ross and adapted to a movie with Vlas Parlapanides (the team who invented the Immortals) is said to be on the way. In addition, she is filming a brand new television series called Gods & Heroes.
